A Whole New World
During this past week, I have learned more about the internet and how to use it than I thought was possible. I was amazed at how the RSS worked and how easy it was to access. Another thing that surprised me, was how many people were involved in the goodreads and delicious programs that are available online. I think that once I am a teacher these different programs will be very beneficial for my teaching career. I love that people can voice their opinions about different books and then I will be able to find books that have good reviews by fellow teachers. I am enjoying learning about the different ways I will be able to enhance my classroom and be a more prepared teacher for my students!

It appears that RSS is a new feature to all of us (including me). This is a bit eye-opening to me: it really proves that classes like this will be helpful to us as teachers. Up until the RSS discovery, I thought our generation knew pretty much everything we needed to know about technology and how to use it.
ReplyDeleteI agree that Delicious and Goodreads will be helpful to us as teachers; it'll definitely help to have all of the info we need in all in one or two places.

ReplyDeleteOh...and you're right. Isn't it amazing how we think we know so much but really there is so much out there that we haven't even heard of? It's crazy but fun to discover.
ReplyDeleteI think that most times technology is much easier than we initially think it is. It is so overwhelming because there is so much that we can do with it, so it is great to see that you are willing to try these things out easily and work through the learning process.
